“I don’t have time”, “It’ll never happen”, or my personal favorite “I’m not good enough”. These thoughts kept me from starting my VA journey for years (I’m still mad about that) and really made me believe that I wasn’t going to cut it in the virtual world. Becoming a virtual assistant is something that I’ve always wanted to do, but of course, I would put it off like everything else. I got in my own way and my thoughts became my own worst enemy. In the world of covid, I felt like I was finally pushed to figure out what I really wanted. I also had the time to put the effort into making it happen.
With this blog, I’d like to talk about the struggles and joys of being a virtual assistant. Not just the clients, money, or work, but also the mental Jedi mind tricks we play on ourselves. Trust me, I’m guilty of it all the time! I want to talk about it ALL! Your favorite systems to use for virtual assisting and the ones that aren’t that great. It’ll be a place to rant/rave and ask questions. I know I don’t have the answers all the time, so it would be great to have a judgment-free space to ask the questions that you think are silly (even though they probably aren’t!).
My journey is just beginning and I’d like to take you along for the ride! If there are any specific topics you would like to discuss, feel free to message me at dominiquemorgan.va@gmail.com. Just put “Blog Topic” as the subject and I’ll take a look!
